Chuck Marzahn is a nationally recognized RV Industry expert.  He is considered by many to be an expert in the customary and usual practices of running a dealership from the perspective of ownership or from that of general manager.  He is published and is recognized as the expert on the physical layout of the dealership facility.  His expertise also includes fixed operations on the retail and wholesale level and he is frequently sought for facilitating strategic planning sessions.  

In 2002, Chuck Marzahn and Tom King, both having been mentored by Bill Gorman, came together to form Marzahn & King Consulting, Inc. based in Virginia Beach, VA.

Prior to that Mr. Marzahn held a position a vice-president with Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS) since 1998.  While with IDS, he built an organization that delivered all post-implementation training and consulting for dealers on the IDS dealer management system.  He is published as an expert in the areas of information technology and knowledge management in national association magazines.

Mr. Marzahn accepted the position as President of Gorman Planning Co., Ltd. in 1995 at the request of Mr. Gorman. As President of Gorman Planning Co., Ltd., Chuck Marzahn gained a view of the industry that has been shared by few others.  Twenty years of retail dealership management experience, coupled with running an industry leading management consulting firm, gives Chuck the opportunity to see emerging trends and to achieve an overview of industry standards and practices.  He is an expert on customary and usual procedures and practices in dealerships.  He has also been the primary moderator for Gorman’s 20-Group Program. Chuck has been invited to speak at Manufacturer’s Dealer Meetings, Trade Associations and Conventions. His contributions as a columnist are found in several trade magazines and blogs.
